Moyer Marine head studs have a custom lower thread, machined to be slightly tighter when installed in older  Atomic 4 block threads. This tighter fit helps reduce the water or coolant leaks that can many times occur with looser fitting studs. Our studs are also zinc plated to help resist corrosion.
