Basic Moyer Marine Exchange Engine:
All Moyer Marine Exchange Engines include a new head, new manifold, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, new carburetor, new 65 amp alternator, new Moyer Marine thermostat, and a new Moyer Marine Flange Pump. All our blocks are hot tanked prior to rebuilding. Our rebuilds are machined as follows: Cylinder bores, valve seats, line boring as needed, new main and rod bearings, new camshaft bearings, new rings, new valves/valve springs. Oil pumps are tested and rebuilt as needed to ensure the best oil pressure possible. After completion, each rebuild is tested on our dynamometer, running at approx. 2000 rpm for at least 30 minutes. Engines are test run to insure they meet original O.E.M. specifications (see photos). Each engine configuration is available in direct drive, reduction and v-drive models.

Warranty: 1 year on all parts and labor, warranty starts at time of delivery.
Used upgraded engine:
This used engine has not only been upgraded with the below parts, but has also been test run on our Dynamometer for at least 30 minutes at 2000 RPM (a typical cruising RPM). This test run not only gives you peace of mind, but also allows our rebuild shop to verify the overall integrity of the engine and to diagnose and correct any potential issues. Our rebuild shop will perform the following tests/services: Pressure test the block, head, and manifold, flow test the cooling system and acid flush as needed, verify compression, check and reset clearance on intake and exhaust valves.
Your engine will also have the following new parts installed: Moyer Marine flange mounted water pump, rebuilt distributor with electronic ignition, new carburetor, new coil, spark plug wires, spark plugs, electronic fuel pump kit, with oil pressure safety switch, 65-amp alternator, Moyer Marine thermostat with thermostat housing and manual cooling bypass valve.
