Electric fuel pump (Catalina 30, 4-5.5 PSI)

Our Catalina 30 pumps carry the same part numbers as those used by Catalina in the late 1970s and 80s to compensate for the additional head loss caused by the location of their fuel tank (8 feet from the engine and lower than the engine). Specifications given in our online catalog (4-5.5 psi) are from FACET’s published information. Depending on the amount of head loss in your particular installation, you shouldn’t expect to see those pressures measured at the inlet of your carburetor. However, the inlet pressure will typically be well above the 1 psi minimum required for trouble-free operation.
