Idler gear thrust washer (used)

These washers are used O.E.M. parts.  They are hardened to withstand the sideward load imposed on the diagonal teeth of the idler gear as that gear powers the accessory drive, distributor, water pump, and alternator.  This is a considerable load, so resist the temptation to use a “regular” flat washer.
