Brass one-way 3/8″ FNPT check valve
This brass check valve imposes 2 to 3 psi back pressure when installed in water systems. It is frequently installed in late model cooling systems to create preferential flow through the “T” fitting in the water jacket side plate when single-action thermostats are used.
