Anti-siphon kit
This kit is designed for installation in the high point of the engine cooling water hose leading from the rear outlet of the manifold to the water inlet on the exhaust system. The valve itself is designed to allow air to pass into the water hose to break a siphon at suction lifts of two or more feet. In our own shop tests, this valve allows air to enter through the valve even at one foot of suction head, indicating a generous safety margin for those of you with space limitations that preclude two feet of vertical drop between the top of the anti-siphon valve and the static water level within the exhaust system.
Kit includes both 1/2″ and 5/8″ hose barbs to accommodate different sized cooling hose.
