Oil pump rebuilding service
When the output from an oil pump drops below acceptable lower limits, oil pressure will decay over several hours of operation even though all bearing clearances within the rest of the engine are normal.
When this condition occurs, the problem is most likely excessive wear on the oil pump gears themselves, or wear within the housing of the rear main bearing cap in which the gears rotate. Our rebuilding shop will install new oversized gears, machine your pump housing to restore new tolerances between the housing and the gears and shafts, and then bench test your pump to insure proper operation.
Note: Please allow 2-3 weeks for this service, from the time our shop receives your pump.
Here’s how it works:
1) Add the item to your cart.
2) During checkout, choose your shipping option (this is how your rebuilt oil pump will be shipped back to you).
3) When we see your order, we will email you the address to send your pump.
4) When we receive your pump, we will notify you and start your rebuild. Completion time is normally 2-3 weeks.
5) We will notify you that your rebuild is done, and ship your oil pump back to you!
