Jumper wire for troubleshooting
Don’t let this simple little wire fool you. It may be one of the most important diagnostic tools we sell. Not only does it help rule out potential ignition problems during troubleshooting, it can also help diagnose a faulty oil pressure safety switch. A must for your toolbox.
This wire is intended to provide power directly from the large battery cable on the rear of the starter solenoid to the positive terminal of the coil, or directly to the electric fuel pump (essentially bypassing the Oil Pressure Safety Switch). It has been modified by MMI to include one large clip for the large battery terminal and one small clip for the coil or power leg of the electric fuel pump. Included quick disconnect terminal to be preinstalled if needed. It is intended only for intermittent use during troubleshooting. Actual wire color may vary.
